Emma insisted on feeding her a goldfish cracker. Since my grandma doesn't eat much, we thought it great that Emma could get her to eat one cracker. She bit into it and said "this thing is damn hard" she made us laugh. She always has the CNA's on edge because they will think that she is asleep and then when they are close she will psst at them really loud and scare them half to death. Then she just chuckles at herself. (Now you all know why I have an obsession with scaring people. My mom did it, her mom did it...) When I went to leave I said "I love you grandma. You are such a good grandma." She responded with "I don't know how good I am." I said "you are great. " and she said "great, great, great, great, great." and then gave a huge smile. I love her and was so glad to get a picture of her with Emma and my mom. I was so glad I got to come and see her. We figured out while I was there that she has 9 children, 43 grandchildren, 123 great grandchildren...and counting and 20 great, great grandchildren...and counting. What a legacy.

What a precious picture. My grandma passed away when I was in eigth grade, but I like to think that she is hand picking my children for me. Sometimes I question her choices!!!
What a Legacy. I love learning from the elderly in my life. They teach me so much. They know what really matters and what doesn't. They've learned to have a sense of humor to get through life. She sounds like a neat grandma! You are lucky!
I think one of my greatest treasures is a pic similar to this one...we did the summer before my grandma passed away unexpectedly! So lucky to have this time...
On a completely separate note: where have you been? Where have I been? Can't believe summer's over 2/3 done and we've done nothing. Call me when you're home...lets plan something!
What a great legacy. So good you came to spend time with her.
I miss my Grandma terribly. You are blessed to still have her hear. What an awesome picture of all of you. That one is a keeper.
I'm glad you came to see grandma! I wish I would have known you were here and I would have driven over. I am glad you got to see her with some personality. The last few times I have been to see her, she hasn't hardly said a word. She just slept the whole time. She is a great grandma!!! Her psst's are hilarious!
