Noah cuddling Annalee

Annalee hungout on her daddy! She loves that!
We are so grateful for the men and women who serve their country and protect our freedom.

It was especially close to our hearts this year as my parents just got done serving the men and women going through training at Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri.

They gave such amazing talks on Sunday about the experiences they had and how so many times the soliders would come up against an obstacle they didn't think they could conquer and when they would pray for help, they were always able to overcome them. I see this in my life daily, and know the Lord watches over us and it perfectly mindful of what we need. Even if it is a trial.

New Haircut

I swallowed a brave pill and had my sister in law Rondi cut my hair all off.

When your hair is so long that you have to move it before you roll over in bed, it's time to cut it.

She cut off 14 inches.

I brought it home and everyone had to try it on.

Gross. If you ask me!
nice!

H with long black hair!

Me. Without the hair!

{OodLes of NoodLes}

What do you do when you have too many eggs?

Make noodles!

Oodles of Noodles!Recipe:

  • three eggs beaten

  • enough flour to make a stiff dough.

  • pinch of salt

  • Put down lots of flour on your surface and roll, roll, roll.

  • Make it as flat as you can and as rectangle as you can.{Look at Emma snitching a noodle, eyeing grandma to see if she is watching}

  • Flour the top of the dough when it is as rectangle as can be

  • Roll up like a cinnamon roll, but really tight

  • Cut and unroll.

  • Lay in a pile with plenty of flour sprinkled on top .

  • Let dry for at least an hour.

  • Add to boiling soup, and let boil for 15 minutes or freeze and use when you make soup the next time.

Make sure to lick those fingers!

Tub Time

On day 5 Annalee's umbilical cord fell of. I thought that was rather fast, but into the tub we went!I am sure the baby bath is somewhere...But this bowl was so cute to have a bath in!
She didn't mind when she was in...

...and wrapped up...

But being naked is not a favorite past time of hers!

Sunshine and Cloth diapers!! ~Love them both!~

I have totally loved the cloth diapers! Thanks to all for getting them for me! I am in Heaven. They are so stinking cute! Just look at them.and something about not having to spend all that money on diapers and not be so wastefull fills me. I know. I am just a horse of a different color. But I love it. We have been sticking Annalee in the sunshine as much as possible. She is not really yellow at all, all of my babies have olive skin that can be deceiving to doctors, but this mama on the seventh time is fully aware of her babies coloring and puts them in the sun only as a precaution (and because I LOVE the SUN!) It's so great for their liver, so sunbathing is always something that is done in the first few days.

And they love it. Come on, who doesn't love to soak in the sunshine.

I think after all that time in the womb, the sun must feel so good.

And it's always a perk to have your daddy kiss on you in the sun!

...or to have your sister hold you in the sun...

Look at that cute bum in those cute diapers!
