Tomorrow Mara starts dance. I am so excited. She is so excited and her teeny tiny tap shoes are so adorable. She picked out her leotard at Target, and I thought for sure she would pick the sparkly pink one, but she surprised me and opted for the black one with diamonds around the collar. I can't wait. She will be in class with her really good friend Caydee. I absolutely cannot wait for her recital. I know it's probably pretty lame of me to be so excited, but I seriously have waited 12 years for this. I never thought, with all those boys coming is quick succession that I would ever have a girl in dance class. And now, here she goes...wish us luck.

Good luck Mara! Let me know when your recital is, I'll come and cheer you on! I felt the same way when McKinley started dance. Something only a mommy can understand!

That is so funny!!! Brett would love to opt out of some dance recitals for a few ball games or fishing trips. I don't think there is anything cuter than little girls in dance costumes.
Oh my goodness has this day already come. Wow time flies. I am so excited for you...I mean Mara. You will both have so many wonderful memories from this. YIPEE!
