Happy Birthday to Sam! I cannot believe that he is twelve, and I do not think it fair that I am dated by his age, But I do count my blessings everyday for him!
All the kids are gathered around to see just what he will open next. They are thinking...will it be something that "I" will like? Will he let me use it? How can I convince him to let me play with it.

Sam was so excited for his birthday! He was so excited that he had to go to bed early so that it "would come sooner."

We truly are blessed to have Sam in our family. I mean any kid who tells you it is a privilege to tend the kids is a keeper. And one who asks daily "Mom what do you need help with?" deserves the best birthday ever.
I thank my Heavenly Father everyday for another day that I get to see him grow.
He truly is a JOY!

Going to bed early makes PERFecT Sense. I did the same thing on my birthday and Christmas. Happy Birthday!

I can't believe 12 years has gone by. Sam you are such a great example to all the younger kids. I know they all look up to you. It's a big responsiblity to be the oldest (I know because I was the oldest)but you are a valiant spirit. And you are one person I never worry about making difficult choices. HOpe you had a GREAT DAY!! Love you SAM
Congratulations on living to the ripe old age of 12 Sam! And we are so sad to miss your ordination but want you to know how much we love you and know that we too are proud of the good choices you make! Looks like you had a fun day and hauled in the "goodies". Your a great example to all your brothers and sisters.
