{2}wo Year Olds

Emma is at it again. She has invented a new word. "Suvvy" You know, soft and fuzzy...ssuvvy. She got a new jacket for christmas with a sherpa lining...it's her suvvy jacket and when she crawls in our bed to 'nuggle with us she like to lay on her daddy's suvvy pillow. Everyone has now started referring to their sherpa jackets as their suvvy jackets and their microfleece pillows as their suvvy pillows. The power of a two year old!

What can I say! I love two year olds, that's why there always needs to be one in the house...coRRect? There is just so much they are discovering and learning, and I love to see life through their eyes. When she was born, we were debating a middle name...should it be Hope or Grace. We liked both, but ultimately Hope won out. I say it is because I HOPED she was not be the last...Ryan says it is because he HOPED she was. It was only a joke, and if you could see how whooped he is over his kids, especially his girls, you would understand why, even though he thinks six is a lot of kids, he decided number seven was due to come! So about the time Emma is four, and starting to get to be a know it all {it is inevidable, it comes to them all}, we will have another "going on" two year old. In May, Arkoudas number 7 will join our family! When we told the kids, I half thought they would be like, whatever. no excitement, but on the contrary. They couldn't believe it, they jumped up and down and were so excited...even the older boys...they kept saying..."Are you serious...your not just joking!" It was so fun.
My parents come home from their mission in May, so hopefully my mom will get to be there this time!(I can HOPE!)

Congratulations!! That's awesome! you have such cute kids.
I LOVE the name Hope for a middle name. She looks so sweet. Two year old's are the best. I nannied a family in Ryan's parents circle so Jon saw us out playing when the kids were that age. We always waved at Jon. haha It's fun to see them grow up right in front of you.

Congrats. I had heard through the family grape vine a while ago but was just waiting for you to say something! That is so exciting! You are amazing and your kids are so lucky to have you! I am assuming you are going to have it be a surprise?...I would imagine you would already know otherwise. Congratulations again. Hopefully you are feeling good!

Yes, you can hope we will be there and I can too! When I talked to Caleb, he was so excited there was going to be a new baby. In fact, just so you know, he said he hoped you would have 10! Talk to Ryan about that one and see his response! We are thrilled, to say the least! And I need a 2 year old around all the time.... thanks for helping out with that one!!

congratulations! I agree two year olds are so much fun to have around. I told my girls that I was always going to have a two year old around, and when they married and start having kids, they can take over for me!

Congrats Mel! Great news! I just saw Jen the other day and she asked if you were expecting and we both said, "probably!" Will you be delivering this one yourself? :)
