Kids....

Caleb is going to make the best dad!

Wednesday was a crazy day for me... Left at 9:00 to help at the school with Max's and Caleb's class. Left the school at 11:00 to make it to the library for storytime at 11:15. Miss Nola was sick, so no storytime, but our friends were there and Emma went to Evie's house to play while I ran errands. When I was done, we ate lunch at Miller's house then I rushed home to grab Caleb's gym clothes, then off to Paris Gibson Jr. High to see the 4th grade fitness challange. After watching Caleb compete in the pull-ups, sit-ups and pacer challange, we headed to the church. We were late for cub scouts and choir practice. I never got done leading the choir practice until 7:30. I ended choir practice with a massive headache. One that left me unable to see out of my right eye, and feeling very nauseated.
I barely made it home. I put the girls in the bathtub and that was all I had left in me. I crawled into bed and died..(okay, not literally died, but sorta wished I could have) Caleb came in after heating up dinner for him and Max. He got the girls out of the tub, got them in their pajamas, and read them stories until they were asleep (Ryan was still at the church with Sam and Noah)
When I was back alive in the morning, I told Caleb how grateful I was for all he had done and he said "It was actually kinda fun!" Love that Man!

Emma is funny!...
She sings everything. She sings when she is playing, she sings to her dolls, she sings when she is by herself, she sings the menu of dinner...she sings all the time.
This morning Annalee was laying on the dog and pulling her hair. Emma started singing "We have to get along, we can't pull our doggy's hair...get along, get along, get along!" She cracks me up

I love Mara...
...even when she bauls her eyes out because there is a bump in her hair (that I put there intentionally so that her hair wasn't flat to her head on the very top) and the bus is waiting outside and I don't have time to redo it. I think the bus driver must think I beat her every morning. He must think she has a horrible life, but really it is quite happy, she just is very sure about what she wants for her hair, and when I am in a hurry, it doesn't work well. She now gets up 10 minutes before the boys so that I can do her hair and not have tears for the bus driver.( which means I now have to find another time for my scripture study--Oh bother!)

I love Sam...
....especially when he gets detention for being a few seconds (less than 30) late to connections and gets detention. Especially because he was helping another teacher and that is why he was late, and I especially love him because his attitude is so great about it, and he can just laugh it off. Love him!

Love Max
...because he has the best imagination in the world. He has mad NINJA skills that make me laugh. Love that He is constantly jump rolling around every corner and slashing plastic ninja swords in the air. Love that he is mindful of others and watches out for Mara on the bus. He makes me smile everytime he walks into the room.

Noah has this quirky personality...
...he is getting so good at drawing, and if he could just be given a dose of motivation, he would conquer the world. He has really great ideas and is turning into quite the movie star. It is so fun to see him act in the movies the boys have been making since he is so quiet and unassuming and likes to disappear into the background in real life. His new favorite pasttime is sleeping. He loves it. Definately a product of his father, since I think sleep is a waste of time...a necessary evil.

Annalee...
...If you just say her name it sums up all the happiness, love, contentment, and peace imaginable. She is the smile on everyone's face....That about says it all!
