Got the goats Monday, "Zippy" had her baby boy Wednesday when the kids got home from school. It was really cool! This was the first goat we have had born with ears! He is so cute! His name?

Sad update about this little guy.
He was doing so well Wednesday night, up walking and eating. Then Thursday he wouldn't stand, we bottle fed him, and got him walking again and nursing, went to bed and woke up Friday to Caleb bringing him in to the house. He was so limp. We quickly went out to feed him, we force fed him, but he never did recover. He died in Caleb's arms. Caleb was so sad! It was so hard for us, especially after watching him born. Such a sad life lesson. One second he was breathing, the next second he wasn't. We buried him after school. Oh! the lessons a farm teaches you.
