Three things happened yesterday that proved to me, Mara is definitely going to be influenced greatly by her older brothers. We were playing with playdough, and she got her cookie cutter stuck clear down in her thick piece of playdough and she says "I can't get this ssupid ssing out." She most certainly didn't hear that from me...That would be Max influenced.

Then in the afternoon Mara got the last rice cake and Max wanted some. Trying to remind her to be nice I said,"Mara, why don't you share a piece with Max." Looking at him and then at her rice cake she broke a small piece off and trying to sound convincing hands it to him and says "here, this is big!" Do you think that one has been tried on her a time or two?
She was walking down the hall after prayers just before going to bed and she says "hey Noah, give me a wedgie." Who asks for a wedgie?
This one I saved for last because I am still in shock that my little princess would say this. Someone tooted at breakfast and Mara said Em's was that you, and Max said it wasn't me. Mara said it wasn't me. Then she got these big eyes of her's and looked down at her eggs and said "it's my eggs...see there is it's bum right there." I did not teach her any of these things. It has to be her older brothers.

Hi Melanie...thanks for leaving your email address! I definately keep up on your blog as well! Oh and the Sam's club incident...I would be livid too! I only have one baby and I feel like I always need help!
hahaha!! love them boys! (we NEVER talk about farts at the table here!! :) )
You know...if that's the worst it gets with the influence of boys, you've got it made! Sometimes my girls do things that Kolbe wouldn't!!! Hummmm...I just think that its Heavenly Father's way of keeping them from dating until they're much much older!
You know...I live pretty stinking close to Sams' Club, which means that you wouldn't have to EVER take them...a little quiet is good for the soul! And, I sort of think Max is a hoot...so, next time...remember where I live!
I totally get it! My Phoebe who's almost 4 always surprises me with what comes out of her mouth-a product of two older brothers and the sassiness of an older sister. Most times it's funny, but I always want to tell people, she didn't hear that from me.
I think she is a real spit fire that one. I love it. She is a smarty. Tell her to keep it up. She is going to need to so she can survive in that house of men.
That is so funny! Kids say the darndest things...
Mara...you are beautiful but maybe just a little chip off the old block. I remember thinking the same thing when your mommy was your age too! Just comes with the territory I think!
